In honor of the upcoming holiday, today's post features three musical greats in all of their ghoulish glory.
The prints are linocut designs (hand carved on wood and then hand printed on heavy card stock) by Straw Castle. The designer, Derrick, is my husband's cousin who also made the Lift Up Nashville poster. A cool, creative guy.
What are your Halloween plans? Got a good costume in the works?
I love the Hank one!! I love Halloween and these linocuts are awesome. I am going to be a gnome this year. I'm even going to wear a beard (while it lasts, I might get drunk and rip it off out of annoyance or something, who knows) and my husband is going to be Luigi! We'll be a funny pair this year, that's for sure! What about you?
ReplyDeleteI love the lettering on the Elvis-Frankenstein one. Cool way he dispersed the letters in the name "Frankenstein!"
